Eligibility
Deck Cadet —
- Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board/ University with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) as a subject of choice, with a minimum of 60% marks.
OR
- with Physics as the only subject in one of the years of B.Sc. in PCM or Electronics with an average of not less than 50% marks from a UGC/DEC recognized university.
OR
- B.E./ B.Tech. Degree from a college recognized by AICTE.
AND
- Should have passed with not less than 50% marks in English as a separate subject at either 10th or 12th standard.
- Age Limit : Up to 25 Years.
- Others : Eyesight should be 6/6 with no colour blindness or any eye defect.
B.S. Nautical Technology —
- Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board/ University with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM) as a subject of choice, with a minimum of 60% marks.
AND
- Passed with 50% marks in English as a separate subject at either 10th or 12th standard.
- Age Limit : Up to 25 Years.
- Others : Eyesight should be 6/6 with no colour blindness or any eye defect.
Marine Engineering (TME) —
- Educational Qualification: Passed or appearing in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (PCM)as a subject of choice, with a minimum of 60% marks.
AND
- Passed with 50% marks in English as a separate subject at either 10th or 12th standard.
- Age Limit : Up to 25 Years.
- Others : Use of corrective lenses is permitted but the maximum permissible limits at entry are +- 2.5 with no colour blindness.
