The NDA exam is a highly competitive exam that requires rigorous preparation and a deep understanding of the syllabus. Who can join the NDA Foundation Course

A candidate who has passed class 10th or Class 11th and has the aim to join NDA. They can join the NDA foundation to get better prepared for the boards as well as for NDA under the guidance of the Ex- Defense Examiners and Officers. Complete study materials for the preparation will be provided by the Institutes. The study materials are designed after proper research and it is proved that the study materials of CPDA are more than enough for the NDA Written Exam and class 12th board etc.

Eligibility Criteria :

Applicants applying for NDA exam must carry the following eligibility requirements:

• Age and Gender : Unmarried male candidates between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years
• According to NDA criteria, health should be good
• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.
• The admission notification will include specific information on the eligibility requirements
• Ready to remain on campus (As it is a compulsory Residential Program)
• The applicant must be an Indian national and meet all requirements of the National Defense Academy (NDA) or Indian Maritime University (IMU)

Examination Details

For the Entrance exam Examinations I and II, forms will be distributed between January to June. The exam will be conducted in April and September. For attempting the Army category, candidates should have passed their 12th grade or could be on the verge of appearing for it.

For the other part, it's almost the same as the previous one, just that the candidates are required to have Physics and Mathematics as their compulsory subjects. The method of selection is first, by a written examination, following the SSB Interview.

Exam Pattern

For the written examination the subjects will be, Mathematics and General Ability Test. For the first one, there are 120 questions to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes. It has 300 marks. For the latter one, there will be 150 questions to be answered in 2 hours and 30 minutes, and it carries 600 marks. The next part of the NDA Exam is the SSB Interview which has 900 marks.
