These positions are all about keeping passengers busy and entertained, and they're the people who are top of mind when passengers hear the term "cruise staff." The activity leaders or instructors work with passengers in small groups, leading them in a specific activity, whether it's diving, dancing, or Yoga. Entertainers provide music (either playing it or as a disc jockey), sing, act, juggle, or other forms of entertainment, either poolside or in the ship's many clubs, casinos, or on stages. Cruise directors are responsible for all of these areas, and making sure that passengers are participating and enjoying each experiences.
Positions in Engine Side :
Chief Engineer : One who is responsible for movement of ship.
Second Engineer : One who looks after entire operations of engine room.
Third Engineer : One who looks after entire functioning of engines and documents.
Fitter : One who is responsible for entire support related to engine wear & tear.
Oiler : One who is responsible for lubrications of engine.
Wiper : One who does cleaning of engines.
Positions in DECK SIDE :
Captain : One who commands the ship.
Chief Officer : One who is responsible for entire navigation of the ship.
Second Officer : One who looks after the operations pof deck side.
First Officer : One who assists chief officer.
Safety Officer : One who is responsible for safety of the ship and crew.
Deck Cadet : One who assists the second officer.
Bosun : One who supervises the crew of deck side.
Able Seaman : One who is responsible for mooring and maintenance.
Ordinary Seaman : One who looks after cleaning , chipping & painting.
Carpenter : One who looks after carpentry jobs.
